On Wednesday 10th June we will celebrate perhaps the most quintessential British sports car series: the Jaguar XK.

Coventry’s celebrated lineage has long stood out as the epitome of elegant design and thrilling performance, setting new standards for sporting luxury from its groundbreaking debut in the late 1940s right up to its modern iterations. The Jaguar XK has led the way on many fronts, with its legendary engine forming the heart of Le Mans-winning C-Type and D-Type racers, demonstrating its formidable track prowess. It’s also long been the go-to choice for the world’s discerning enthusiasts and celebrities: from the sensationally fast XK120, which was the world’s fastest production car at its launch, through the refined XK140 and XK150, to the powerful and sophisticated XKR of the modern era. Each iteration combined breathtaking beauty with exhilarating performance, embodying British automotive excellence.

For this display, we will bring together the key icons from the Jaguar XK series’ history in the grounds of the HAC – from the original classics of yesteryear to powerful modern grand tourers. These stunning vehicles will be presented alongside the concours cars, adding further star appeal to the capital’s leading automotive summer garden party.
