A British Icon Remastered – Wood and Pickett Mini by CALLUM to Join ‘Icons Remastered’ Class at London Concours
Few cars capture the spirit of Britain quite like the classic Mini. Compact yet charismatic, it remains one of the most recognisable automotive designs ever created.
This June at London Concours 2026, that legacy will be reinterpreted as the Wood and Pickett Mini by CALLUM joins our ‘Icons Remastered’ class, presented by AirX.
A standout feature of this year’s event, the car reimagines the classic Mini Mk5 Sportspack through a collaboration between Wood and Pickett, famed for their bespoke conversions of the 1960s and 70s, and CALLUM, the Warwick-based design and engineering house founded by Ian Callum CBE.

Built on a fully restored Mk5 shell, the car features redesigned bodywork, including new front and rear valances and sculpted side sills, alongside a striking Anthracite metallic finish developed by CALLUM. Inside, the cabin draws inspiration from Wood and Pickett’s “Margrave” interiors, with Bridge of Weir leather, bespoke switchgear, and a newly designed dashboard creating a refined, contemporary space.

Performance has been enhanced to match its updated looks, with a rebuilt 1310cc Stage 3 engine producing 110bhp. This is paired with upgraded suspension, improved braking, and CALLUM-designed alloy wheels, delivering a classic Mini driving experience more suited to modern roads.
The Mini’s appearance at London Concours 2026 offers visitors the opportunity to experience a true British icon, thoughtfully evolved for a new generation.
As part of the ‘Icons Remastered’ class, the Wood and Pickett Mini by CALLUM will be displayed among a curated selection of reinterpreted automotive icons, each offering a fresh perspective on classic design.
