Established in 2011, the initial Waud Wine Club concept revolved around delivering thoughtfully curated cases to our subscribers. Over the years, our model has evolved, branching into a host of other areas such as website sales, events, wine tours, gifting, and our investment wine business. Nevertheless, we remain steadfast in honouring our roots, continuing to deliver quarterly cases to our members.
Corporate services have played a pivotal role in our trajectory. From our initial foray into corporate events in 2013, we’ve expanded our offering to encompass corporate gifting, client lunches, and the latest addition – wine education. Our commitment revolves around providing enjoyable and informative events, while steering clear of the snobbery often associated with conventional wine tastings. At Waud Wines, we believe in making wines approachable for all.
EVENTS
With access to some of London’s most prestigious venues and restaurants, we are able to host exclusive events and tastings for a range of group sizes at a variety of price points. With the knowledge and insight of winemakers, suppliers, and our expert team, our events are always informative, inclusive, and most importantly, enjoyable.
TOURS
We have been organising wine tours for our members since the very beginning. We travel to regions throughout Europe to visit our producers, explore their vineyards, and taste their fantastic wines. We run several wine tours throughout the year, including one driving tour – the perfect opportunity to take your cars to stunning European locations.
GIFTS
Our gifting service remains in line with the culture of our business – the wines we offer are generally limited production bottles that you will not find on the high street. We deliver wines of perceptually high value that we are confident your clients, friends, and staff will enjoy.
INVESTMENTS
In 2015, Waud Investment Wines Limited was formed as a business upon the sound foundations of the Waud Wine Club. Every year since, we have taken part in Bordeaux En Primeur campaigns, buying wines from the likes of Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, Chateau Margaux, Rauzan Segla, Canon, Pontet Canet, Chateau Palmer and more… We also run campaigns with other high end investment grade wines from around the world including Opus One in California, Sassicaia and Masseto from Italy, as well as Seña from Chile.
Our strategy is simple. Buy wines with perfect provenance, critical acclaim, and at the right release price, to give our customers a positive return in the mid to long term.
