London Concours Announces Spectacular 2026 Alfa Romeo Showcase in Collaboration with Goodwood Road Racing Club

This year’s London Concours will celebrate one of Italy’s most evocative automotive marques with a special class dedicated to Alfa Romeo.

Taking pride of place on the lawns of the Honourable Artillery Company between 9th – 11th June, the Alfa Romeo class will be presented by Goodwood Road Racing Club, bringing together a remarkable selection of cars that chart the brand’s enduring legacy of racing pedigree, striking design and driver-focused performance.

Spanning nine decades of automotive excellence, London Concours will feature some of Alfa Romeo’s most revered creations, from pre-war icons to modern performance saloons. Among the highlights is a 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C Tourer, an elegant and evocative example of the brand’s early motorsport dominance, joined by the 1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, a model that helped cement Alfa Romeo’s reputation as one of the most formidable racing manufacturers of the pre-war era.

Representing Alfa Romeo’s golden age of sporting road cars is a 1968 Giulia 1600 Sprint GT Veloce ‘Stepnose’, one of the most sought-after variants of the Giulia coupé family. Penned by a young Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone, its beautifully balanced proportions and distinctive ‘Scalino’ bonnet detail have made it an enduring icon. Powered by a 1.6-litre twin-cam engine and equipped with advanced features for its time, including disc brakes all round, it remains one of the most engaging and celebrated driver’s cars of its era. It will appear alongside a highly original, concours-winning 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Mk2, widely regarded by enthusiasts as the peak evolution of the charismatic 105-series coupés.

Also gracing the lawns of the HAC will be a 1972 Alfa Romeo Montreal – a rare right-hand-drive example of which just 179 were produced. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone and originally conceived as a concept for Expo 67, the Montreal combined dramatic, forward-looking styling with a quad-cam V8 engine featuring fuel injection and dry sump lubrication. Owned in period by Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, it perfectly captures the glamour and ambition of Alfa Romeo in the early 1970s.

Also featured will be a stunning 1958 Giulietta and a 1977 Alfetta GTV 2.0, a model that exemplified Alfa Romeo’s ability to blend everyday usability with spirited performance.

The rare and dramatic Alfa Romeo RZ, with its unmistakable Zagato-designed bodywork, will showcase the brand’s bold experimentation of the late twentieth century.

The class will also include more modern interpretations of Alfa Romeo’s design philosophy, including a sleek 2008 Alfa Romeo Brera V6 JTS and the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia V6 Biturbo Quadrifoglio.

Andrew Evans, Managing Director of Thorough Events said:
“As part of the London Concours’ 10th anniversary, celebrating Alfa Romeo’s most influential and charismatic models feels like a natural choice. In collaboration with Goodwood Road Racing Club, we have built a class that perfectly captures the spirit of the brand, from classic tourers to modern-day icons.

“Across all three days at the HAC we will bring together more than a hundred of the world’s finest classic cars, supercars and hypercars, and the Alfa Romeo class promises to be a spectacular display of Italian style, engineering and racing heritage.”

The London Concours has become one of the most unmissable events on the UK’s automotive calendar, combining the excitement of the world’s finest classics, supercars and hypercars with the atmospheric buzz of the city.
