Renauld Sunglasses Partners with London Concours to Showcase Heritage of Motoring Style

London Concours, the capital’s ultimate automotive garden party, will be hosting a showcase of Renauld Sunglasses, the luxury heritage eyewear brand with deep roots in motoring culture.
The partnership will see Renauld showcase its iconic collection of driving-focused sunglasses at this year’s event, taking place from 3rd to 5th June at the Honourable Artillery Company grounds.
Renauld’s connections in the automotive world stretch back to the 1960s, when legendary racing drivers including Jim Clark chose Renauld as their sunglasses brand of choice. The motoring heritage was further cemented when its distinctive wraparound designs appeared on the silver screen, most notably in the opening scene of “The Italian Job” in 1969.
“The London Concours is about blending the worlds of motoring and artisan craftsmanship in its all its forms, and this partnership with Renauld Sunglasses is the perfect exemplar of that,” said Andrew Evans, London Concours Director. “Their extraordinary heritage in motorsport and commitment to the finest materials and techniques perfectly complements our celebration of automotive excellence. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how Renauld’s technically advanced lenses enhance the driving experience.”
Several Renauld collections feature the company’s signature curved lenses, offering 180-degree protection ideal for drivers. Other collections incorporate authenticated motoring-related history, encased within the Renauld Keepsake Marque embedded in the lens or temple of the sunglasses. These include elements such as a piece of bodywork from Steve McQueen’s original 917 Porsche, a segment of James Dean’s pit overalls, and a pinch of brick dust from the finish line of the legendary Indy 500 Brickyard track. Handcrafted near Venice, Italy, these sunglasses combine iconic design with modern optical technology, delivering both style and exceptional performance behind the wheel.
Visitors to London Concours will have the exclusive opportunity to view and purchase limited-edition Renauld designs, including the iconic Sixty-One model once worn by Sean Connery during the filming of “Goldfinger” and the Rossano wraparounds immortalised in “The Italian Job.”
